人材紹介のジェイ エイ シー リクルートメント（代表取締役社長・COO：松園健、本社：東京都千代田区、以下「JAC」）は、「グローバルホワイトカラー人材マーケット調査レポート（No.8　英語力・TOEICと転職決定年収・転職決定率の関係）」を発表しました。

＜概要＞
本調査の目的は、英語力及びTOEICスコアと、転職決定年収・転職決定率との関係を明らかにすることである。2010年の当社実績データを元にしている。

調査の結果は次のとおりである。

（１） 本人申告による英語力が高いほど、転職決定年収・転職決定率は、高くなる。
（２） TOEICスコアが高いこと自体は、総じて転職決定年収を高めるとは言えない。
（３） 本人申告の英語力が「初級」の場合、TOEICスコアが高いことは、400～699点までの間では転職決定率を高める。
（４） 本人申告の英語力が「中級」以上の場合、または、TOEICスコアが700点以上の場合は、TOEICスコア自体は、転職決定年収も転職決定率も高めない。

企業にとっては、現在の採用選考結果がある程度正しいとすれば、最初からTOEICスコアよりも、本人の職務経歴等に基づく英語力の自己申告をもっと重視した方がより良い母集団形成ができるということが示唆できるのではないか、と思われる。また、キャリアアップを目指す個人にとっては、TOEICは600点程度に達したら、実務上での英語の実践度を高めることの方が効果的ということを示唆できる。

＜Abstract＞
This study was aimed at investigating the relation of English language skill or score of TOEIC (most popular business English test in Japan developed by ETS in U.S.   TOEFL developer), and annual income after job-change or agent entry interview to job-change success ratio. This survey is consisted in permanent placement data via JAC Recruitment Japan in 2010.
As the main discovery matter, (1) higher “English language skill”, make higher annual income after job-change and higher agent entry interview to job-change success ratio. (2) Under control of “English language skill”, score of TOEIC don’t contribute for annual income after job-change. (3) In low level of “English language skill”, higher score of TOEIC make higher agent entry interview to job-change success ratio in 400-699 score of TOEIC. (4) Inelse case, score of TOEIC don’t contribute for annual income after job-change or agent entry interview to job-change success ratio.For company recruiters, they can have more confident of assessment by “English language skill” with candidate’s experience than score of TOEIC. For talents, after achieving 600 score of TOEIC, it is more important than score of TOEIC that experience of work by English language skill.
